The Wolf 7"
“The Wolf” by Lindsay Anderson is a haunting, poetic exploration of sacrificial love, power dynamics, and transformation within an intimate relationship. The song is layered with metaphor — the wolf as a looming threat, a shadowy lover, or perhaps the embodiment of the muse-artist tension. It asks: If I give everything for you, will you do the same for me?
The second side “Less Scared” is a beautifully sparse piano and voice musing on walking into the fire, with just a little less fear.
Both tracks are a perfect precursor to the overarching narrative of Anderson’s upcoming concept album “Forgiving”, where themes of creative entanglement, identity, and liberation unfold.
Printed in Chicago at Smashed Plastic, the vinyl is a shimmery, iridescent green to compliment the lush photography by Ricardo Adame. Shipping rates apply to US only. For international orders please email us.
