Oracle Card: The Wolf (Digital)
Each song on the album “Forgiving” links to an archetype. The Wolf is the first character revealed and is the character of the song “The Wolf.”It is a call to return to our inner, fierce selves. The Wolf expressed in modern culture as the predatory, loner character, has been short-sided. The Wolf is actually a pack animal that survives by being in touch with its instincts. Early pre-christian folklore and myths tell of the maternal, female mother wolf who protects her tribe by being deeply connected to her intuition.
Archetypes have been used since the time of early philosophy to express and understand human patterns and personalities that show up as roles we embody. These characters can operate within our psyche in both light and shadow patterns. We often connect or gravitate to certain characters. Getting to know our archetypes can help us better understand ourselves. Use these cards to become aware of the roles you often play or patterns you see showing up in your life to guide you to a deeper understanding of yourself. By seeing our shadow patterns, we are more able to shift into the light pattern for a fuller life experience.
